LR BAGGS ANTHEM-SL-SS (SPLIT-SADDLE)

STUDIO MIC'D SOUND WHEREVER YOU PERFORM
The Award-winning Anthem series, featuring our patented TRU MIC technology, seamlessly combines a
proprietary condenser microphone with our acclaimed Element pickup to deliver the warmth and fidelity
of a studio-mic’d guitar anywhere you perform.

TRU MIC TECHNOLOGY
At the heart of the Anthem is a revolutionary microphone engineered to capture a dynamic studio-mic’d
sound for any live performance. The TRU MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and hovers just
3 mm above its surface to take advantage of the PZM or “boundary” effect. This proprietary mounting system,
combined with noise cancellation, frees the mic to perform as if it were outside of the guitar in a studio
and maintain remarkable feedback suppression for the stage. The result is a balanced frequency response
with excellent clarity for the purest sound you have ever heard amplified. We have paired the Element
pickup with the TRU MIC to provide solidity and punch for low frequencies.

ANTHEM SL
For those of you who prefer a minimalist approach to controls, the Anthem SL delivers the same groundbreaking
studio mic’d fidelity as the Anthem in a streamlined format with a single volume control. The endpin preamp has
all-discrete circuitry for the purest signal and the TRU•MIC is premixed with the Element for optimum performance.

- The patented TRU MIC carries the majority of the guitars’ frequency range while the Element Pickup carries
only the lowest frequencies
- The mic is highly feedback-resistant
- Noise cancelling microphone technology eliminates any annoying honky or boxy qualities from the inside of
the guitar
- Mic installs easily on the bridge plate with peel and stick adhesive
- Mic and pickup levels preset for optimum performance
- Soundhole remote includes volume and mic trim controls
- All discrete pre-contoured endpin preamp with preset crossover
- Element Pickup fits most common string spacings and saddle width
- Comes with battery bag for secure and unobtrusive battery retention
- Model available for nylon string guitars

Unlike typical undersaddle acoustic guitar pickups that are dependent on string compression
for their sound, the Element was engineered to mirror the soundboard’s actual movement as you play.

At the heart of the pickup, a flexible film sensor only 2 thousandths of an inch thick picks up the
guitar’s most delicate nuances. Tracking the motion of the top rather than a direct string attack
suppresses “quack" caused by compression and unlocks the Element’s unrivaled dynamic range.
The pickup’s minimalist construction lessens any influence on the acoustic properties and creates
an intimate coupling between the pickup and guitar for the highest fidelity possible.

- All-discrete endpin preamp
- Pre-attached Element pickup
- Fits both 3/32" and 1/8" saddle slots
- Soundhole mounted volume control
- Battery type: Single 9V
- Battery life: 1,000 hrs
- Model available for nylon string guitars.

Acoustic Guitar Bridge plate Pickup Like the B-Band AST and the K&K Pure Mini, the LR Baggs
I-Beam is a soundboard pickup that adheres to the inside of your guitar, on the bridgeplate
between your soundhole and bridge pins. In doing so, it produces a remarkably natural tone by
picking up the vibrations of the soundboard (rather than the vibration of the strings, as with
undersaddle pickups). The I-Beam is responsive enough that it will even pick up percussive effects
and fingersqueak. Included with each I-Beam is a placement jig that makes the pickup totally
self-installable (provided you have the hole for the endpin jack in place). I-Beams are
shipped with extra adhesive strips on request in case you need to experiment with placement.

The Baggs I-Beam pickup is available in two versions, one for regular steel-string guitar
and one for classical guitar. They are essentially identical, but the classical version h
as a little arch cut into the middle of the pickup so it can straddle the center fan brace.
