guitar maestro Frank Gambale as an answer to his long search for a nylon string guitar with fast and slimmer
neck that most suits his intricate and sophisticated playing style. Taking design inspirations from his former
signature model, the Luxe steel string guitar, the recurring elegant Art Deco theme can be found in the
redesigned fingerboard inlays as well as soundhole rosette design, while the body is constructed using all-solid
blackwood with heightened aesthetic beauty and rich balanced tone.
Deep Concert Body Shape
Small body with deeper body depth (100mm(3.93") x 105mm(4.13")) produces bigger resonation for more body and
volume projection than conventional concert body guitars, while retaining the comfort that a smaller body offers.
Solid Flamed Blackwood Top with Solid Blackwood Back and Sides
The characteristic of the blackwood is similar to an ideal blend of several tonewoods. Rich low-end of mahogany,
the brightness of maple and the ethereal overtones of rosewood. Blackwood is good for both strumming and
fingerpicking, with responsive clarity and power that comes from its dense characteristics.
Art Deco Styled Design
Frank Gambale's continuing dedication to Art Deco influence is reflected on LUXE Nylon, as shown on the newly
designed fingerboard inlay and soundhole rosette.
Fishman® Flex Blend System
With a sophisticated modern design and innovative technical engineering, the Fishman® Flex Blend System offers a
wide range of sonic control along with a built-in tuner. Volume, Tone, Phase, Blend and Tuner functions are all
available from three knobs and the tuner display. You can also adjust the Tone knob to best suit fingerpicking
or strumming techniques without feedback issues and other sonic anomalies while delivering the most natural
acoustic sound to your amplification system.
Graph Tech® Black TUSQ Nut & Saddle
Preferred by many guitar makers and players for rich tone and sustain, the TUSQ is an advanced polymer that's
formed under high heat and pressure for uniform density. It's designed to transfer string energy more efficiently,
and to make guitars come alive with enhanced harmonics, volume and sustain.
45mm(1 3/4") Nut Width
Unlike the conventional nylon-string guitars that have wider nut width that ranges from 48? to 52?, LUXE
Nylon’s narrower 45? nut width provides a more familiar feel of the neck for players who are more accustomed to
steel string guitars, enabling a virtually seamless switch between nylon and steel string guitars without
discomfort.
Ebony Fingerboard & Bridge
A very strong and dense wood, ebony provides a tight and coherent low-end with enhanced mids, while the jet-black
color imparts class and luxurious look. The specially designed bridge allows the strings to be loaded from the
back side of the bridge without the use of bridge pins.
